Van Driver – Temp to Perm

Location:        Upton-upon-Severn
Pay:                  £13.50 per hour
Hours:             Monday – Friday
Contract:         Temporary to Permanent
Typical hours: 8–10 hours per day
Start time:       4:00am for approximately 90% of shifts

We are looking for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a client-facing delivery role involving the transportation and delivery of sensitive items. The role requires someone who is professional, respectful and able to deal with clients with discretion and empathy.

The Role

  • Completing deliveries safely, efficiently and respectfully.
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle, with regular lifting involved.
  • Dealing professionally and courteously with clients.
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
  • Carrying out basic vehicle checks and keeping the van clean and presentable.
  • Working Monday to Friday, generally for around 8–10 hours per day.
  • Being available for early starts, with approximately 90% of shifts starting at 4:00am.

  • Comfortable with manual handling and lifting.
  • A confident and responsible driver.
  • Professional, presentable and polite when dealing with clients.
  • Empathetic, discreet and respectful, given the sensitive nature of the deliveries.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Able to remain calm and professional in all situations.
  • Committed to providing an excellent service.

Previous van driving or delivery experience is desirable.
