HGV Class 2 Driver

Job Title: HGV Driver (Class 2) Days – Ongoing work
Location: Cheltenham and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: 3-5 days per week
Pay Rate (Rolled Up Holiday): £17.37 per hour

(Standard PAYE also available)

Job Overview

We are currently seeking professional and flexible HGV Class 2 Days for our client based in Cheltenham, for ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled deliveries or collections as required
• Ensuring vehicles are operated safely and within legal compliance
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery logs
• Representing the company and clients in a professional manner

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
• A good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations
• Reliability and flexibility to accept short-notice shifts
• Min 6 months Class 2 driving experience preferable
