HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) – Droitwich

Start Times: Between 4:00pm and 9:00pm

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to work for our client based in Droitwich. This is an ongoing opportunity offering regular work, competitive hourly rates and consistent night shifts.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday (Nights): £18.00 per hour (£20.17 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay)
• Saturday: £19.00 per hour (£21.29 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay)
• Sunday: £20.00 per hour (£22.41 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay)

Duties

• Driving HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) curtain-side vehicles
• Delivering palletised goods to customer locations
• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Following all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations
• Completing delivery paperwork and using a digital tachograph correctly

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year’s HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Strong commitment to health and safety
