HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Multi-Drop (Palletline) & General Haulage
Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Pay Rate: £16.30 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a busy and well-established transport operation based in Kidderminster. These are full-time temp-to-perm opportunities offering long-term prospects for reliable and professional drivers.

Role 1: Class 1 Multi-Drop Driver (Palletline)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 07:00
Finish: 17:00–18:00 (approx.)

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections (typically 6–10 drops, max 16)
• Operating curtain-sided double decker trailers
• Ensuring timely and professional customer service
• Completing paperwork and vehicle checks

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Proven multi-drop experience (essential – no new passes)
• Experience with curtain-sided double decker trailers
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Must live within or near: Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Stourbridge, or Cleobury

Role 2: Class 1 General Haulage Driver

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 07:00 – 18:00
Additional: Occasional nights out may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Nationwide general haulage deliveries and collections
• Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
• Completing delivery documentation accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Complying with driver hours and transport regulations
• Representing the company professionally

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of UK road networks
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and timekeeping
• Flexible approach, including occasional nights out
