Overview

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 (HGV) Drivers for day work and tramping work based in Banbury. This role involves Monday to Friday work with early morning start times . The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong time management, and a commitment to safe and efficient driving.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a Class 1 (HGV) vehicle safely and efficiently

Completing scheduled deliveries and collections as required

Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Ensuring compliance with all driving hours, road transport, and health & safety regulations

Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery documentation

Representing the company in a professional manner when interacting with customers and clients

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Typical start times between 04:00 and 06:00

Tramping required during the week

Pay & Benefits

£16.25 – £23.87 per hour, depending on experience

£25 per night out allowance

Paid induction day required prior to commencing work

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence

Valid Driver CPC qualification

Valid Digital Tachograph card

Previous Class 1 & 2 driving experience required with a minimum of 2 years experience

Good understanding of UK driving regulations and compliance
