Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver – Day shifts
Location: Gloucester and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Ad Hoc – 1-3 shifts / 3-5 shifts per week / 5 days per week ongoing
Pay Rate: £15 – £16.81 per hour

Job Overview

We are currently seeking professional and flexible HGV Class 2 Day Drivers for clients across the Gloucestershire area. Ideal for drivers looking for ad hoc or ongoing work, contracts,casual, temporary, part-time, or fill-in shifts, this role offers the chance to work with a variety of reputable clients on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pallet Network
  • Carrying out scheduled deliveries or collections as required
  • Ensuring vehicles are operated safely and within legal compliance
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery logs
  • Representing the company and clients in a professional manner

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence
  • Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
  • A good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations
  • Reliability and flexibility to accept short-notice shifts
  • Min 3 months Class 2 Driving experience preferable
