HGV Drivers Wanted – Adhoc Shifts | Smethwick Area | Wright Staff Recruitment

Wright Staff Recruitment are currently seeking Adhoc Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to support our clients across the Smethwick area.

This is an opportunity ideal for drivers who are semi retired, looking for temporary work or looking to pick up extra shifts during the week/weekends. We work hard to match you with as much work as possible based on your availability.

What We’re Looking For:

A professional attitude with excellent communication skills

Strong time management and the ability to prioritise tasks

A solid commitment to safe working practices

Valid HGV licence (Class 1 or Class 2), CPC, and Tacho card

Pay Rates (Per Hour):

Class 1 Drivers

Monday–Friday (Days): £17

Monday–Friday (Nights): £18

Weekends: £20–£21

Class 2 Drivers

Monday–Friday (Days): £15

Monday–Friday (Nights): £16

Weekends: £18–£19

Note: These are our standard rates. Pay may vary slightly depending on the client.

Important:

This is an adhoc role – daily work is not guaranteed, but we aim to provide you with regular shifts based on client demand and your availability.
