Pay Rate:

• Class 2 – £14.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Class 1 – £16.00 per hour (PAYE)

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Drivers (Class 1 & Class 2) to join our transport team on a part-time or ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking flexible working hours with no overnight stays or weekend commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out 1-2 pallet collections per shift
• Complete long-distance deliveries (within a 10–12 hour working window)
• Operate curtain-sided vehicles
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Good knowledge of UK road networks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent time management and reliability
• 1 month experience
