About the Role

We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for ad hoc work Full time / Part time in the Solihull area. This flexible position is ideal for drivers looking to pick up extra shifts, work around other commitments, or enjoy variety in their schedule.
You’ll cover holiday, sickness, and peak demand, with shifts available across days, nights, and day time weekends. Competitive pay rates are offered based on shift type and timing.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in a safe and compliant manner Complete multi-drop or trunking runs depending on the client
Conduct pre-use vehicle checks and report any defects
Accurately complete all paperwork and logbooks
Provide excellent service when interacting with clients and customers

Requirements

Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience preferred
Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
Flexibility to work varied shifts at short notice
No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
